Comet is a steel roller coaster at Walygator Grand Est that stretches across 590 meters of track with a vertical loop, double corkscrew, and helix element painted in orange with blue support structures. Each train holds 28 riders across seven cars with two seats per row for a complete ride experience.
This ride first opened in 1989 under the original name Comet Space and experienced name changes throughout its operating years. It carried different names between 2007 and 2013 before settling on its current identity.
Comet represents a major advancement in French amusement park engineering as one of only two Vekoma Hurricane roller coasters ever constructed worldwide.
