The Saint-Pierre church exhibits Gothic architecture with a prominent bell tower and stained-glass windows from the 14th century illuminating the interior space.
Founded in the 7th century by Queen Bathilde, the church underwent reconstruction in 1165 after fires in 1077 and 1134 damaged the structure.
The building houses a pipe organ from 1867, restored in 1990, which continues to enhance musical performances during the annual Organ Festival.
Visitors can enter the church Monday through Friday between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM without paying an entrance fee.
The ground level inside the church sits lower than the street, and a red portal marks the entrance to this medieval structure.
