Summer is a stone female figure created by Guillaume Coustou and shown holding farming tools while wearing a crown of wheat. The sculpture occupies a spot in the Tuileries Garden and displays careful attention to detail in its carving.

This work came into being during the 18th century as part of a four-part series representing the seasons commissioned for royal gardens. The collection was created to showcase the classical art traditions valued by the French crown at that time.
