Cima della Statoja

Cima della Statoja is a mountain summit standing at 2,305 meters (7,562 feet) between Asco and Olmi-Cappella. From the top, you can see across the surrounding mountain ranges and deep valleys throughout the region.

The peak has served as a natural boundary marker between different communes since administrative borders were established in this part of Corsica. It continues to define territorial divisions today.

Local shepherds use the mountain slopes following seasonal patterns that have shaped the landscape over many generations. This traditional practice remains visible in how the pastures are managed today.
