Plage Vensac

Plage Vensac is a natural beach along the Atlantic coast positioned between two nearby towns and bordered by sand dunes. The shoreline stretches roughly 1.8 kilometers with clean sand throughout and no artificial structures or development.

The area around this beach has ties to an 18th-century windmill that stood nearby. The structure operated until 1939 and was moved to its current location in 1858.

This beach stays in its natural state without shops or resort development, showing how the local community values protecting the coastline.

This beach has no lifeguard service, so swimmers should be cautious and self-reliant. Parking is available along an old concrete bike path from the 1940s that runs near the shore.

The northern section of this beach connects to the Euronat nudist center, which occupies a separate designated area. This makes it one of the few French Atlantic beaches with a recognized nudist zone.
