Atelier des Lumières

Atelier des Lumières is a digital art center in Paris' 11th arrondissement housed in a converted 19th-century industrial building. Works by famous artists are projected in large format onto walls and floors, creating a fully immersive experience that surrounds visitors completely.

The building was originally a foundry from the 19th century and was converted into an art center in 2018. This renovation transformed an abandoned industrial site into a space for contemporary digital art.

The exhibitions present works by famous artists projected onto walls, allowing visitors to step into their worlds. You experience how classical artworks are reimagined through light and sound effects.

The venue is easy to reach by public transport and sits near several metro stations. Plan to spend at least an hour or two wandering through the different rooms to fully experience the projections.
