Coudrée Castle

Coudrée Castle is a fortified house and hotel on the southern shore of Lake Geneva with rooms furnished in 18th and 19th century styles. The rooms are distributed throughout various levels of the building.

The building was constructed around 1200 and underwent major changes in the 16th century before the Bartholoni family added Renaissance elements from across Europe in the 1850s. That renovation shaped its current appearance.

The restaurant here focuses on regional cooking and uses local ingredients for dishes served in dining rooms or on the lakeside terrace. Visitors experience this traditional food approach while enjoying views across the water.

The hotel offers free WiFi, a sauna, and an outdoor swimming pool for guests. The location is relatively easy to reach from larger towns in the region.

The Laden family has managed the property since 1955, with sisters Caroline and Marina now representing the third generation of hoteliers. This family management has given the place a consistent identity.
