Bassiani occupies a former swimming pool beneath Dinamo Arena and operates as an electronic music venue with multiple dance floors equipped with professional sound systems. The space accommodates around 1200 guests across its repurposed underground structure.
The nightclub opened in 2014 following the conversion of a former Olympic swimming pool beneath the sports complex. Its name references a 13th-century battle between the Georgian Kingdom and the Sultanate of Rum.
The venue hosts regular Horoom Nights, special gatherings for LGBTQ+ communities that foster belonging and acceptance within Georgia's electronic music scene. These events serve as spaces where people can express themselves freely and connect with one another.
The venue enforces strict door policies and prohibits photography inside the space. Operating hours extend into the early morning, making visits after midnight the best option for the full club experience.
The venue employs around 14 resident DJs who perform regularly alongside international artists, creating a consistent and varied musical program. This resident structure has helped build both the space's reputation and the local electronic music scene.
