Krčić waterfall

Krčić waterfall is a 22-meter drop over a limestone cliff where the Krčić River ends its flow. Below the cascade, the Krka River emerges from a cave opening, creating a natural transition between two river systems at this location.

In ancient times, local people built watermills along the river to grind grain using water power. This use of the natural force shaped the area for many centuries.

Locals call this spot Topoljski buk, and it marks where two rivers meet in the Dalmatian landscape. People have long recognized this junction as a significant place where water sources come together.

You can reach this waterfall on a paved path from the parking area. Wooden benches and information boards at the viewing point help you take in the scene and learn about the location.

Here you can witness a rare natural event where one river ends in a cascade while another river springs from a cave directly below. This meeting of water ending and water beginning creates an unusual connection of two rivers in one spot.
