Krčić waterfall

The Krčić waterfall marks the end of the Krčić River, plunging down a limestone cliff where the Krka River begins its journey below.

Ancient settlers constructed watermills along the river banks, using the water force as the primary energy source for grain processing throughout centuries.

The waterfall, known locally as Topoljski buk, represents the natural connection between the Krčić and Krka rivers in the Dalmatian landscape.

Visitors can access the waterfall via a paved trail from the parking area, with wooden benches and information boards available at the viewing point.

The waterfall creates a natural phenomenon where one river ends in a cascade while another river simultaneously springs from the cave beneath.
