Krvavac is a small settlement located in the Dubrovnik-Neretva region near the Neretva River delta. The village sits in the northern part of the county, positioned between flat agricultural areas and higher terrain.
The settlement developed alongside a significant 16th century fortress located at the confluence of two rivers. This fortification shaped the area's growth over the centuries.
The area participates in the annual Neretva Boat Marathon, where traditional vessels compete on the second Saturday of August.
The area is best visited as a day trip since visitors can reach it via good road connections from nearby larger towns. Accommodations and dining options are found in the surrounding region.
