Pasjača

Pasjača is a narrow beach wedged between tall cliff faces along the Adriatic coast in Konavle. The shoreline offers a secluded setting away from busier nearby coastal areas, with the cliffs creating a natural frame around the water's edge.

The beach formed in the mid-twentieth century when construction workers disposed of stone material from a tunnel project into the sea. This accidental depositing gradually shaped the coastal formation that exists today.

The Konavle region surrounding the beach maintains traditional Croatian customs, with local restaurants serving regional specialties in nearby villages.

Access involves descending a long staircase from the parking area near Popovići village down to the shore. There are no shops, cafés, or facilities on-site, so it is best to bring what you need beforehand.

The cliffs tower roughly 250 meters above the water, acting like a natural wall that completely frames the beach. This striking height difference makes the spot feel unusual and stays in visitors' memories.
