Aquaworld Budapest, Indoor water park in northern Budapest, Hungary

Aquaworld Budapest is an indoor water park under a 72-metre-diameter dome rising five storeys, covering 4,200 square metres and usable in both winter and summer. Its 17 pools hold over 3,300 square metres of water, and 15 of them operate all year. The interior follows the model of an Angkor temple ruin, with sculptures matching that concept, and 11 slides total about one kilometre in length.

The facility opened in 2008 as part of Budapest's drive to expand recreational options in the northern district. This development marked a turning point for water sports and wellness activities in that area of the city.

The interior is modelled on an Angkor temple ruin, and the statues follow the same Khmer concept. The name Aquaworld – Vízibirodalom means "water empire" in Hungarian. Fifteen of the seventeen pools operate all year, and the slides total one kilometre in length.

The facility is open daily and provides access to all pools and attractions during your visit. It is best to arrive with proper swimming gear and plan to spend several hours exploring the different areas and attractions.
