Csodamalom Bábszínház

The Csodamalom Bábszínház is a puppet theater housed in a former steam mill building, where puppeteers perform with hand puppets, glove puppets, and marionettes. The stage presents a range of performances designed for audiences of different ages.

The theater was founded in 1986 as an amateur group by puppeteer Tibor Korzsény and gained professional status in 1992. The former mill building subsequently became its permanent home and performance space.

The venue keeps traditional puppet theater alive, presenting folk stories and tales that have meaning for local audiences. Performances blend classic narratives with creative staging, allowing families to experience puppetry as both art and storytelling.
