Váci Street, Pedestrian shopping street in District V, Hungary.

Váci Street extends for 1.2 kilometers from Vörösmarty Square to the Central Market Hall, running parallel to the Danube River.

The street originated in the 18th century as a central boulevard leading to a city gate, with mansions dating from the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Church of St. Michael at number 47/B hosts regular organ recitals and music festivals in its Baroque interior from the mid-18th century.

The street connects to public transportation via metro stations Vörösmarty tér on line M1 and Ferenciek tere on line M3.

A bronze plaque marks the location of Porta Nova, one of the medieval city gates where the street connected to the former Pest city wall.
