Boronka-melléki Tájvédelmi Körzet

The Boronka-melléki Protected Landscape is a conservation area in Somogy featuring a network of fishponds surrounded by forests, wetlands, and sandy grasslands. The area connects different natural habitats that support a range of plant and animal life.

The fishponds and narrow-gauge railways in the region were developed after World War I by local landowners. This infrastructure shaped the landscape and is now preserved as part of the protected area.
