Mágor-puszta, Archaeological site and grassland near Vésztő, Hungary.

The protected area spans 947 hectares along the former floodplain of Sebes-Körös River, featuring two prominent mounds rising 9 meters above ground level.

Excavations between 1968 and 1988 revealed settlements from Neolithic to Bronze Age periods, plus remains of a 10th-century monastery built by the Csolt family.

The site houses exhibits in a converted wine cellar from 1812, displaying artifacts from prehistoric times through the Turkish conquest period.

The 500-meter educational trail connects natural and historical sections, with designated areas for group activities and cooking facilities.

The monastery walls contain decorative elements matching those found exclusively in Hungarian royal constructions of the medieval period.
