Rákóczi Mansion, Felsővadász, Renaissance château in Felsővadász, Hungary.

The two-story mansion features a complex floor plan with romantic architectural elements, resulting from substantial modifications during the 1860s renovations.

Originally constructed as a fortress by the Rákóczi family in the 16th century, the structure was destroyed in 1567 during an Ottoman siege led by Hasan Pasha.

The mansion houses a collection including a portrait of Ferenc II Rákóczi and period furniture in its main hall, preserving Hungarian noble heritage.

The château functions as an elementary school since 1954, maintaining its educational role while preserving its historical architecture.

The mansion's grounds contained a botanical garden with numerous plant species, of which only one Ginkgo biloba tree remains today.
