Schönherz Kollégium

The Schönherz Kollégium is an 18-story residential building for students designed with practical layouts and modern amenities. Each floor contains study areas and shared kitchens where residents can gather and prepare meals together.

Architect József Finta designed this student residence in 1981 as the Technical University campus expanded in the area. The building underwent renovations over the decades and officially returned to its original name in 2017.

The hallways here serve as meeting points where students from different fields of study naturally encounter one another throughout the day. This daily exchange creates a vibrant living environment where friendships form and academic conversations happen informally.

The building sits near tram and metro lines that connect directly to the university campus. Most faculty buildings are within a short walk from the dormitory entrance.
