Saint Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Szeged

Saint Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Szeged is a Baroque church featuring a notable iconostasis containing 74 religious icons and two Deacon's Doors decorated with biblical figures. The interior also displays a fresco depicting the creation of the world.

The church was built in 1773 on the site of earlier wooden structures and received its official consecration in 1805 from Bishop Jovan Jovanovic. Following a devastating flood in 1879, the building underwent major renovations.
