Gesztenyéskert, Park in Németvölgy, Budapest, Hungary

A horse chestnut tree alley forms the central axis of this 35,000-square-meter green space in District XII of Budapest.

The park emerged in 1984 following the construction of the Budapest Congress Center, preserving trees from the former Németvölgyi cemetery.

The park features multiple monuments, including two obelisks dedicated to the heroes of the 1848-49 War of Independence.

Visitors can access playgrounds, running tracks, dog areas, and drinking fountains throughout the expansive recreational space.

The 1985 sculpture 'Kettős gömb' by László Paizs stands near the Congress Center, complementing the park's artistic elements.
