József főhercegi palota, Former Habsburg palace in Buda Castle District, Hungary.
The palace stood at Szent György Square 4, featuring classical architecture with corner towers and decorative elements added during its 1902 renovation.
Built between 1787 and 1789 as Teleki Palace, the structure became Archduke Joseph's residence in 1892 and underwent substantial modifications.
The palace represented Hungarian noble architecture and served as a residence for the Habsburg family until the Second World War.
The palace sustained severe damage during the 1945 siege of Budapest and was demolished in 1968, making way for medieval ruins and an underground museum.
The reconstruction of József főhercegi palota began in July 2021 as part of the National Hauszmann Program to restore its original appearance.
