Established in 1687 by Bösinger Ferenc Ignác after the Turkish occupation, this pharmacy served as the first medical establishment in Buda and moved to its current location in 1922.
The museum exhibits demonstrate the progression of Hungarian medical practices through centuries, featuring traditional remedies and pharmaceutical preparation methods from different periods.
Visitors can access the museum from Tuesday to Friday between March and October from 10:00 to 18:00, while winter hours run until 16:00, with weekend openings year-round.
The museum preserves original furnishings from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, including apothecary jars, prescriptions, and medical instruments used in Hungarian pharmacies.
