Old Town Hall in Buda, Town hall in Buda Castle Quarter, Hungary.
The Old Town Hall stands at the corner of Szentháromság Square, featuring a statue of Athena with the coat of arms of Buda.
The building was constructed between 1692 and 1710 under Italian master builder Ceresola, using remains of previous Gothic structures on the site.
The town hall remained the administrative center of Buda for 160 years until the unification of Buda and Pest in 1873.
The building belongs to a foundation managed by the Hungarian National Bank since 2014 and maintains regular opening hours for visitors.
The interior contains an ornate Rococo staircase added during the second half of the 18th century, displaying period architectural craftsmanship.
