Dovev

Dovev is a farming village perched in the northern hills of Israel near the border region. The settlement consists of scattered agricultural plots and homes spread across the landscape, with orchards and fields making up much of the visible surroundings.

Initial settlement efforts began in 1963 as part of Israel's development program for the northern territories. The moshav was formally established in 1980 to create a permanent agricultural community in this area.

Residents of Dovev participate in cooperative farming practices, maintaining agricultural traditions while developing modern cultivation techniques in the Galilee region.

The settlement is accessible by regional roads and administered by the Merom HaGalil Regional Council, which provides various services. Keep in mind that this is a private residential area where agricultural activity dominates, so wandering freely may not always be possible.

Dovev functions as a front-line community, combining agricultural activities with its strategic position along Israel's northern security zone.
