Tzippori Synagogue, Ancient synagogue ruins in Sepphoris, Israel.
The synagogue structure measures 20.7 meters in length and 8 meters in width, featuring detailed mosaic floors divided into seven distinct sections.
Archaeological evidence and numismatic findings indicate the synagogue's construction during the first half of the fifth century in the northern section of Sepphoris.
The floor mosaics display Jewish religious scenes, including angels visiting Sarah, the sacrifice of Isaac, and representations of Temple offerings in Jerusalem.
The synagogue remains are part of Tzippori National Park, established in 1992, which preserves multiple archaeological structures from different historical periods.
The central mosaic panel contains a zodiac wheel with Helios driving his sun chariot, accompanied by Hebrew month names and religious symbols.
