Kota district, Administrative district in Rajasthan, India.
Kota district spans across 5,217 square kilometers of land and contains five administrative divisions: Pipalda, Digod, Ladpura, Ramganj Mandi, and Sangod.
During the 12th century, Rao Deva established control over the region, while in the 17th century, Mughal Emperor Jahangir granted Kota to Madho Singh.
The district features multiple languages, with Hadauti spoken by 48 percent of residents and Hindi by 39 percent of the local population.
