Kota Barrage

Kota Barrage is a dam across the Chambal River equipped with gates that manage water distribution for farming needs. The structure channels water through a network of waterways to supply agricultural lands across the surrounding region.

The project was initiated in the 1950s as part of a larger development plan for the Chambal Valley and was completed in the early 1960s. This completion marked a turning point in water management and land development for the region.
