Ambajipeta mandal

Ambajipeta mandal is an administrative division in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, Andhra Pradesh, comprising several rural communities in the eastern part of the state. The area is organized into multiple villages, each with its own local governance structure.

The area was reorganized in 2022 when it transitioned from East Godavari district into the newly established Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district as part of administrative changes in Andhra Pradesh. This shift resulted in adjusted governance boundaries and administrative arrangements for the region.

Telugu language serves as the primary communication medium across the mandal's villages, reflecting the linguistic heritage of Andhra Pradesh's eastern region.

The territory maintains 17,064 rural households distributed among distinct villages, including Chiratapudi, Gangalakurru, and Isukapudi, each governed by local gram panchayats.
