Delhi Technological University is a higher education institution for engineering in Rohini, northern Delhi. The campus consists of several multistory buildings with lecture halls, laboratory spaces and administrative areas arranged around open courtyards and green patches.
The institution began in 1941 as a technical training school under British administration. After independence it expanded into a full college for engineering and finally received independent status in 2009.
Students participate in Engifest, an annual cultural event featuring music performances, artistic displays, and academic presentations from multiple engineering disciplines.
The main entrance is on Bawana Road and can be reached using the Yellow Line metro and local buses. The campus is open during daytime for events and talks, though some areas may be restricted to visitors.
A dedicated research center on campus works on semiconductor projects and electric vehicle technology. These laboratories regularly collaborate with private companies and give students insight into current industrial developments.
