The Radha-Damodara Temple in Vrindavan is a Hindu sanctuary with multiple connected spaces for prayer and worship. The complex includes several shrine areas where visitors and pilgrims can participate in traditional ceremonies honoring Radha and Krishna.

This sanctuary was founded in 1542 by Jiva Goswami, an influential philosopher and spiritual leader of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism movement. Its establishment marked an important moment in the development of this theological teaching in Vrindavan.

This place functions as a gathering point where devotees come together each day to express their devotion through chanting and offerings. The rhythms of worship here shape the spiritual life of the local community.

The sanctuary opens early in the morning around 7:00 AM and again in the afternoon around 4:00 PM, when ceremonies are most active. It helps to prepare for traditional worship practices and to respect local customs when entering sacred spaces.

Within this complex lies a special stone said to hold spiritual significance, where circling it four times is believed to equal a complete pilgrimage around a sacred mountain. This practice allows visitors to experience a major spiritual journey in symbolic form.
