Balaji Mandir Ketkawla, Hindu temple in Pune district, India

Balaji Mandir Ketkawla is a Hindu temple in Pune district with elaborate stone carvings and traditional architectural elements. The structure follows South Indian temple design principles and features a central sanctum housing the main deity.

The Venkateshwara charitable trust built the temple between 1996 and 2003 as a replica of the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple at Tirupati, funded by the V H Group at a cost of about 27 crore rupees. It stands in Ketkawle, Pune district, Maharashtra, on the Pune-Bangalore highway about 60 km from Pune.

The temple reproduces the Tirumala shrine of Venkateswara in Andhra Pradesh, and its priests follow the Tirumala tradition of worship. The main idol is black granite, about 9 feet tall, and the gopuram rises roughly 30 feet. Smaller shrines for other deities stand within the complex.

The temple sits along the Pune-Bangalore highway south of the city and is easily accessible by road. Visitors will find facilities for worship and can participate in community gatherings held throughout the year.
