Bhirrana is an archaeological site in Fatehabad district where excavations have uncovered multiple layers of ancient settlement. The remains show mud-brick houses and communal buildings arranged along carefully planned streets.
The settlement dates back to the 8th millennium BCE and ranks among the earliest known settlements of the Harappa civilization. Archaeological evidence shows the site was occupied across several distinct cultural periods.
The artifacts found here show pottery, clay figurines, and seals with patterns similar to those found at other Harappa sites. These objects offer a window into the daily life and artistic skills of the early inhabitants.
