Jawahar Circle is a circular park in Malviya Nagar with multiple concentric tracks and rose gardens all around it. The entire layout spans about 1,420 meters and is set within the residential neighborhood.
This site was completed in 2009 by the Jaipur Development Authority as a modern recreation project for the city. The project marked the development of new green space in this part of Jaipur.
The entrance gate displays intricate paintings and architecture that reflect the artistic traditions of Rajasthan. You can observe the crafted details that characterize the local artistic style as you walk through.
The site is open early morning until late evening daily and works well for walking or jogging. Keep in mind there is a small entry fee and refreshments are available near the entrance area.
At the center there is a fountain with water effects set to colored lights and video projection in the evening. This light and water show creates a focal point that you rarely find in parks throughout this area.
