Kazheesirama Vinnagaram

Kazheesirama Vinnagaram is a temple in Sirkazhi with a three-tiered Rajagopuram entrance gate and three main shrine chambers. These are dedicated to the deities Trivikrama, Loganyagi, and Andal and form the religious heart of the site.

The temple was founded during the Chola dynasty and expanded over centuries by Medieval Cholas, Vijayanagara rulers, and Madurai Nayaks. These different periods shaped its present form and structure.

The temple ranks among the 108 sacred sites where ancient Tamil Alvar saints composed devotional hymns between the 6th and 9th centuries. These compositions continue to shape worship here today, connecting visitors to an enduring spiritual lineage.
