North West Delhi is a parliamentary constituency comprising ten assembly segments: Narela, Badli, Rithala, Bawana, Mundka, Kirari, Sultanpur Majra, Nangloi Jat, Mangol Puri, and Rohini. These areas together form a diverse electoral zone with over 2.5 million registered voters.
The constituency was created in 2008 following recommendations from the Delimitation Commission of India as part of a redrawing of Delhi's parliamentary electoral zones. This change restructured seven Lok Sabha constituencies across the capital.
