Raj Bhavan, Official residence in Patna, India.
The three-story Raj Bhavan features brick construction with plastered walls, an Allahabad tiled roof, and a north-south longitudinal axis layout.
Built between 1912 and 1917, the building served as Government House for the lieutenant governor of Bihar and Orissa until the provinces split in 1936.
The Durbar Hall inside Raj Bhavan contains teak flooring mounted on springs and features detailed plaster decorations throughout its interior spaces.
The ground floor functions as office space, while the first floor includes reception areas, drawing rooms, and dining sections for governmental functions.
The complex spans 100 acres and incorporates a 34-acre botanical garden established in 1970 by Governor Nityanand Kanungo.
