Serlui B Dam

Serlui B Dam is a hydroelectric installation with a concrete gravity structure that spans a considerable length and generates electricity for the region. The facility harnesses flowing water through multiple turbines to convert it into power.

Construction began in the early 2000s and was completed roughly a decade later, bringing significant changes to surrounding communities. The project required local residents to relocate to new settlements.

An on-site visitor center provides lodging and allows guests to explore the facility and reservoir area. It is best to visit during drier months when access roads are more passable.

The reservoir basin was converted into a fish farming area after completion, becoming an important income source for the region. Visitors can observe how power generation and fish cultivation coexist side by side.
