Serlui B Dam

The Serlui B Dam stretches 293 meters in length and reaches 51 meters in height, incorporating three turbines for power generation in Mizoram.

The construction of this infrastructure project began in 2003 and reached completion in 2009, necessitating the relocation of Builum village to Bawktlang.

The dam's construction reflects the development priorities of Mizoram, where water resources support both energy production and local fishing traditions.

Visitors can access accommodation at the tourist lodge, which opened in 2018 and provides rooms across 367 square meters of built area.

The reservoir created by the dam transforms into a productive pisciculture center, generating substantial revenue for the state government through fish cultivation.
