Sethani ghat

The stone construction spans along the banks of the Narmada River, providing broad steps that descend into the sacred waters at Narmadapuram.

In the 19th century, Jankibai Sethani of the Sharma family funded the construction of this ghat to help devotees access the Narmada River more easily.

During the annual Narmada Jayanti celebrations in February, thousands of people gather at the ghat to float oil lamps on the river's waters.
