Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University is a public technical university in the Jankipuram district of Lucknow. The campus spreads across multiple buildings that include lecture halls, computer labs and administrative offices, with green spaces and walkways connecting them.
The institution was founded in 2000 as Uttar Pradesh Technical University. Its current name was adopted in 2015 to honor former Indian President Abdul Kalam.
