Mirza Ghalib Museum

The Mirza Ghalib Museum exhibits manuscripts, letters, personal belongings, and a collection of Mughal-era coins on the third floor of Ghalib Academy.

The museum opened its doors on February 22, 1969, when India's third president, Dr. Zakir Husain, inaugurated it during the Ghalib Centenary celebrations.

The museum maintains a darbar hall that represents the last Mughal Emperor, featuring traditional decorations and works by artists M.F. Hussain and Satish Gujral.

Located near Hazrat Nizamuddin and Jangpura metro stations, the museum welcomes visitors from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM without entry fees.

The collection includes photographs documenting Ghalib's residences, food preferences, and clothing styles, alongside commemorative stamps from both India and Pakistan.
