Mother's Wax Museum

Mother's Wax Museum contains life-size wax replicas of notable figures from politics, entertainment, sports, and history displayed in spacious exhibition halls.

The museum started operations in 2014 as the first major wax museum in eastern India, following the model of international wax exhibitions.

The collection includes statues of regional luminaries like Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, and Mother Teresa, representing Bengali and Indian cultural heritage.

The museum maintains regular opening hours throughout the year, with special extended timings during festivals and holidays to accommodate increased visitor numbers.

Local artists and sculptors created each wax figure using traditional techniques combined with modern technology to ensure accurate representation of facial features.
