Eco Park, Urban park in New Town, India

Eco Park is an urban park in New Town that covers a large area with water bodies, themed gardens, and several botanical sections. The complex is divided into three separate zones, each offering different landscape types and recreational options.

Development began in July 2011 under the guidance of the regional government, with a state infrastructure corporation coordinating the construction. Completion happened gradually over several years with ongoing expansion of individual areas and facilities.

The park's Bengali name, Prakriti Tirtha, means a pilgrimage site of nature. Replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World stand in the Active Zone for visitors to walk among. The Crafts Haat displays handicrafts from different parts of West Bengal.

The park remains closed on Mondays and opens in the late afternoon from Tuesday through Saturday, while Sunday entry begins around midday. The paths cover large distances, so comfortable shoes are advisable, and many areas are best explored using rental bicycles or electric vehicles.

The park holds replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World, built so visitors can see them without leaving India. The 2014 Vokatta kite festival drew fliers from the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, the US, Singapore and Malaysia, plus national teams from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Mumbai and Rajkot.
