Nabha House

Nabha House is a three-story red sandstone building with a grand columned entrance gateway and an ornate obelisk tower as focal points. Spacious verandahs define the interior spaces while multiple domed towers punctuate the roofline.

The palace was built in the 1800s by Maharaja Hira Singh of the Bhatti clan as a significant regional structure. Major restoration work took place in the early 2000s to preserve the building for future generations.

The palace served as a retreat for rulers attending sacred rituals at the nearby sacred lake, particularly during significant celestial events. This connection to spiritual practice shapes how visitors experience the place today.

The site is easily accessible with clear viewing angles from multiple vantage points around the structure. Visitors should allow time to explore the layered details of the verandahs and towers since the building spans three levels.

A small temple dedicated to Brahma sits atop the structure, merging Hindu and Rajputana architectural styles in an unexpected way. This combination shows how regional building traditions came together in a single work.
