Pars Stadium

Pars Stadium is a modern sports facility in Shiraz with two tiers of seating for about 50,000 spectators and a professional running track. The facility includes training centers, administrative buildings, locker rooms, and parking areas for visitors.

The project began in 1997 but faced delays that extended construction for nearly two decades before opening in 2017. This lengthy building period reflected challenges encountered when developing major sports infrastructure in the region.

The stadium serves as the home venue for local football clubs and draws fans from across the region who come to watch national competitions. It has become a gathering place where the community comes together around the sport.

The location is walkable and offers adequate parking for car visitors. It is advisable to arrive early for major matches, as seating can fill up quickly on game days.

The stadium features an advanced underfloor heating system beneath the grass pitch that keeps the playing field in good condition even during cold weather. This system was relatively uncommon in the region when the stadium opened and reflects international construction standards.
