Jameh Mosque of Shafei, Sunni mosque in Kermanshah, Iran

Jameh Mosque of Shafei is a mosque in Kermanshah featuring three domes, two minarets, and a spacious courtyard decorated with tilework. The building displays Pahlavi-era architecture throughout its structure.

The mosque was built in 1945 near Kermanshah Bazaar and replaced an earlier pilgrimage site in the area. Local religious leaders, including Khalifa Mohammad Saleh Mohammadi, supported the construction.

The mosque functions as a gathering space for the Sunni community in Kermanshah and displays a blend of Ottoman and Iranian architectural traditions. Visitors can observe this mix in the decorative details and spatial organization throughout the building.

Daily access to the mosque is available, though visitors should confirm opening hours in advance. Photography requires permission from the site staff.

The mosque's prayer niche combines white and black marble in a distinctive pattern. The arched roof is entirely covered with travertine stone, giving the building a particular character.
