Jameh Mosque of Shafei

The Jameh Mosque of Shafei features three domes with two minarets and incorporates a large courtyard with decorative tilework throughout the structure.

Built in 1945 near Kermanshah Bazaar, the mosque replaced a previous pilgrimage site and received support from local religious leaders including Khalifa Mohammad Saleh Mohammadi.

The mosque serves as a central gathering place for Sunni Muslims in Kermanshah, integrating Ottoman architectural elements with traditional Iranian mosque designs.

Visitors can access the mosque daily between 10 AM and 6 PM, with photography requiring advance permission from the site custodians.

The mosque's Mihrab combines white and black marble elements, while the arch-shaped roof features travertine stone covering its entire surface.
