Gavmishan Bridge, Ancient bridge at Seymareh River, Iran.

The stone bridge spans 175 meters across the Seymareh River, featuring a width of 8 meters and connecting Ilam and Lorestan provinces.

The bridge was constructed during the late Sasanian era and later collapsed during the Persian army's defensive strategy against the Muslim conquest in the 7th century.

The bridge represents Persian engineering methods with its brick pillars and architectural design, demonstrating advanced construction techniques from the Sasanian period.

Located 20 kilometers east of Darreh Shahr and 30 kilometers from Pol-e Dokhtar, the bridge underwent restoration work between 2005 and 2008.

The structure contains the largest bridge span among ancient bridges in Iran, measuring over 50 meters in length between supports.
