Casa del jazz, Music palace in Rome, Italy
The Casa del Jazz occupies a villa within a 2.5-hectare park, featuring three buildings that include an auditorium, rehearsal rooms, and recording facilities.
Architect Cesare Pascoletti designed Villa Osio in the 1930s for Arturo Osio, one of the founders of Banca Nazionale del Lavoro.
The venue maintains an extensive audiovisual archive and library, offering jazz history lessons, listening sessions, and presentations of new recordings.
The main auditorium contains 150 seats and professional recording equipment, while additional buildings provide spaces for musicians to practice and perform.
Musicians can stay at the on-site guest house and enjoy dedicated facilities, including a restaurant that serves both performers and visitors.
