TownHouse Galleria, Luxury Hotel in Milan
TownHouse Galleria sits inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a historic shopping arcade in central Milan with five floors. The hotel has 55 rooms overlooking the arcade or a quiet courtyard, each with wooden floors, modern amenities, and artwork created by different artists.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II was designed by Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865 and 1877, connecting Piazza del Duomo with Piazza della Scala. The hotel was established later and purchased by Vik Retreats in 2019, who renamed it Galleria Vik.
The name honors Italy's first king and connects history to everyday life in Milan. Visitors walk through to shop, meet friends, and admire the ornate mosaics and decorative tiles that line the gallery floor and walls.
The hotel sits next to the Duomo metro stop, connecting you to other parts of Milan, and the famous Via Montenapoleone is a 10-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available throughout, pets are welcome, and private parking can be reserved for a fee.
Some suites feature panoramic views of the gallery or private rooftop terraces overlooking the city. Guests can stay while experiencing the same historical perspective that visitors have enjoyed for over 140 years walking through these arcade passages.
