Sant'Antonio delle Monache a Port'Alba, Baroque convent in historic Naples, Italy

The structure exhibits an 18th-century facade featuring a prominent double-ramp staircase and detailed marble decorations throughout its architectural elements.

Sister Paola Cappellani established the convent in 1564, which later expanded through the addition of the adjacent palace of the Principi di Conca.

The interior contains numerous artworks, including stucco decorations by Arcangelo Guglielmelli and paintings by Antonio Sarnelli and Ferdinando Castiglia from different periods.

Since 2009, the building functions as the Biblioteca di Ricerca Area Umanistica of the University of Naples Federico II, providing research facilities.

The main altar displays intricate pearl inlays in marble, while the ceiling features a Mannerist painting of Saint Anthony from the 1700s.
