Palazzo Orsini, Renaissance palace in San Giuseppe-Carità district, Naples, Italy

The construction of Palazzo Orsini began between 1513 and 1549 when nobleman Ferdinando Orsini acquired lands from the nearby Santa Chiara complex.
The palace represents the architectural preferences of Naples' nobility, featuring a mix of Gothic and Renaissance elements that characterize the period's building style.
Since 1940, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Naples has operated within the palace, making it an educational institution.
The entrance portal, added in 1766 by Mario Gioffredo, incorporates distinct architectural elements that set it apart from other Neapolitan palaces.
